Asus recently released a new version of the bios for the Republic Of Gamers Rampage IV Extreme. Since 2006, Asus has been releasing high-quality hardware especially for demanding gamers under the name ‘Republic Of Gamers’. The Rampage IV Extreme is a motherboard built around Intel’s X79 chipset and suitable for the second generation Core i7 processors. If the motherboard is equipped with bios version 1404 or older, it will first have to be converted from a rom to cap structure. This guarantees full functionality in Windows 8.
