After a long time of silence around TFT Tester, AtleX has overhauled its program in C# and started bughunting the 2.0 series of TFT Tester. TFT Tester is a small program that can test CRT and LCD screens for color and brightness distribution by running the program in full screen, dead pixels that stand out from the changing colors and convergence by drawing straight lines on the screen, so you can immediately see if the monitor has an abnormality. In the meantime, with the arrival of beta 2, the first beta has already become obsolete, in which ‘some small things have been fixed with, among other things, the sidebar of Vista’. TFT Tester 2.0 beta 2 available from this server can be downloaded as a zip file and has a much smaller download compared to the 1.0 branch, but this new version series on the other hand has the .NET FrameWork 2.0 required. The changes made in the second beta of version 2.0 can be read below:

Almost all features have been preserved, except for the useless timer. In addition, some things have been added, such as gradient tests and the sharpness of text. Multimonitor support (a much-requested feature) is also included, albeit a bit broken.

Of course, there is a restriction that you are not allowed to earn money with it, and adjusting and so on is also prohibited.
