Download Firmware Ricoh GXR 1.36

Ricoh has for his GXR digital cameras released new firmware, with version number 1.36. With these cameras, both the lens and the image sensor are housed in one module, which can be placed on the GXR body. For more information, please refer to this news article, which briefly discusses the set-up. The list of customizations for this firmware version is as follows:

Modified the following items:

• Should the exposure be adjusted in the [Cross Process] SCENE mode, the color displayed during monitoring may differ from the actual color.
• The exposure may not be correct in the following condition; after taking a picture in well lit area, then immediately turning the camera off and on and taking another picture.
• In [Soft Focus], [Cross Process], [Toy Camera], [Miniaturize]or [High Contrast B&W] SCENE modes, if you attempt to take a picture in a dark area, it is possible that the camera will not respond.
