Download Paint.NET 2.1 RC 1

The developers behind Paint.NET have just released the first release candidate of version 2.1 of their program. Paint.NET can be seen as a replacement for the MS Paint included with Windows and is being developed in C# by some people from Washington State University in collaboration with Microsoft. The software only works under Windows XP, 2000 or 2003 and of course the .NET FrameWork will have to be installed. If all goes well, this will be the only release candidate to be released and will meet the April 30th deadline for the final version. In this version the resampling routines have been rewritten as a bug in the GDI+ could not be solved. The full changelog looks like this:
