Asus website mentions RTX 3080 Ti with 20GB vram
Asus confirms the existence of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti with 20GB vram on its website. Two such video cards are listed on a manufacturer’s support page. Nvidia is rumored to announce the video card in February.
The product names of two Asus ROG Strix RTX 3080 Ti variants with 20GB vram are visible in the list of supported products on Asus’s support website. There have been rumors about the arrival of such a video card for some time and previous registrations have already proven its arrival. The listing on the Asus website confirms the presence of 20GB to vram.
According to previous rumors, the RTX 3080 Ti will get a GA102-250 GPU with 10,496 CUDA cores. This means that the card has the same number of cores as the RTX 3090. The memory would be Gddr6x, just like the RTX 3080 and 3090. The RTX 3090, however, has even more vram with 24GB.
It was initially rumored that Nvidia would announce the RTX 3080 Ti in January, but according to new information, that has been delayed until February, VideoCardz said. Availability of RTX 3080 cards remains problematic and Nvidia has previously indicated that it is expected to continue until early 2021.
