Wacom Introduces Cintiq Pro 27 Drawing Tablet with Customizable Stylus

Wacom announces the Cintiq Pro 27. This digital drawing tablet has a 26.9” screen with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. The panel offers a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR support and comes with a customizable Wacom Pro Pen 3 stylus.

The Cintiq Pro 27 has a touch-sensitive IPS panel and can according to Wacom Display 99 percent of the Adobe RGB color space and 98 percent of the DCI P3 color space. The screen delivers a brightness of 400cd/m². The device weighs 7.2 kilograms and measures 638x379x31mm. The 26.9″ screen has an effective area of ​​596x335mm. This makes the Cintiq Pro 27 smaller than the Cintiq Pro 24 from 2018, which has a smaller 23.6″ screen and measures 677x394x47mm. That device has wider bezels, but a smaller screen diagonal.

Eight buttons can be found at the back of the tablet, which according to Wacom can be programmed by the user himself. The drawing tablet has an HDMI 2.1 port, a Mini DisplayPort connector, two USB-C connections and a USB-A port. Wacom also adds the Wacom Pen 3 stylus to the tablet. According to the manufacturer, that pen supports 8192 different pressure levels. According to the manufacturer, this stylus can be adjusted in terms of weight, thickness, buttons and center of balance. The drawing tablet can be connected to a Windows, Mac or Linux PC via HDMI, MiniDP or USB-C.

Wacom does not supply a standard for the drawing tablet, but it was developed. The stand is available separately for $599. The device also has a VESA 100 connection. The digital drawing tablet itself costs 3850 euros.
