Developer Techland has revealed more details about Dying Light 2, including the release date. The zombie survival game will be released on December 7 for PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles. In the game, players get many more parkour moves at their disposal.

In a new trailer and on his website, the Polish developer provides more details about the story of Dying Light 2. Players must unravel a mystery in a city that has been taken over by zombies and where various factions have taken refuge.

The game takes place in an open game world with a day and night cycle and in the dark the zombies come out. Players can complete missions at the behest of the factions, and the developer promises that they will all have compelling characters and that choices players make affect them.

The game will have an optional coop mode for 2 to 4 players. Compared to the first part, players get double the number of parkour moves at their disposal. This allows players to move through the game world with acrobatic movements and avoid or attack zombies.

Dying Light 2 will be released on December 7th. The game will be released on current and previous generation PlayStation and Xbox consoles as well as on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The PC version costs 60 euros, the console versions have a suggested retail price of 70 euros.

Dying Light 2 was announced at E3 in June 2018 with the first gameplay footage. The game has been delayed several times. Initially, the game was to be released in 2019, that was spring 2020 and then it was shifted to an unknown date.
