Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 is coming to iOS and Android December 18
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords will be available for iPhones, iPads and Android devices from December 18. It is a renewed version of the eponymous game from December 2004, which was first released for Xbox and later for Windows, macOS and Linux.
Aspyr Media has developed this new version for iOS and Android. According to the company, the game has been optimized for play on mobile devices with the addition of touchscreen controls. It is not clear whether more things have been improved or renewed. It is also unknown whether the efforts of mod makers, who added unreleased parts of the game in 2012, are present in the new mobile release. That does not seem very likely.
Nothing else has changed in the storyline. As in the 2004 game, which is the sequel to the original 2003 Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, it revolves around the five-year period after the events of the first game. Players take on the role of an exiled Jedi knight and must team up with others to stop the Sith from attempting to destroy the Jedi completely. It is up to the player whether this is achieved via the light or dark side of the Force.
Developed by BioWare, the original Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is considered a classic and one of the best Star Wars games ever. The December 2004 sequel, which was made by Obsidian Entertainment, was also well received, including praise for the story. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords for Android and iOS will be released on December 18 and will be priced at $ 15.
