Mozilla is releasing an update to its Firefox browser after it accidentally deleted cookies. As a result, users had to log in to online services again and again. The bug was in Firefox 112. Version 112.0.1 should fix the problem.

You can read it on bug tracking website Bugzilla that cookies were given a date that was, for example, 4130 years in the future, causing Firefox to delete the cookies inadvertently. This resulted in users having to log in to online services every time.

The problem has been solved with version 112.0.1 of Firefox. The update is installed automatically for most users. Users can download the stable version of 112.0.1 as well download manually.
