Insomniac Games Announces Minimum PC Requirements for Spider-Man Remastered

Insomniac Games has published the minimum requirements to run Spider-Man Remastered for PC. Users need at least an i3-4160 or similar CPU, a GeForce GTX 950 or similar AMD GPU, 8GB of RAM and 75GB of free storage space.

With those system requirements you can play the game according to Insomniac Games play at its lowest graphics settings and that at a 720p resolution of 30fps. The developer recommends playing the game on systems that have at least an Nvidia GTX 1060 or an AMD Radeon RX 580 graphics card on board to get a recommended user experience. In terms of CPUs, Insomniac Games recommends having a PC with at least an Intel Core i5-4670 or an AMD Ryzen 5 1600. With 16GB of RAM and 75GB of free space on an SSD, the game should run smoothly on medium graphics settings with a resolution of 1080p and a frame rate of 60 fps.

To take advantage of the game’s ray tracing capabilities, you’ll need a system with at least an Nvidia RTX 3070 or an AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card. According to Insomniac, that in combination with an Intel Core i5-11600K or an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, 16GB of RAM and 75GB of free storage space on the SSD ensures that the game runs at a resolution of 1440p and at 60 frames per second. or at a 4k resolution with 30fps. For the ultimate ray tracing experience, systems should have at least an Nvidia RTX 3080 or an AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT. The CPU must then be either an Intel Core i7-12700K or an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X. If this system has 32GB of RAM and 75GB of free space on the SSD, it can render the game at a 4k resolution and at 60fps.

Spider-Man Remastered for PC supports Nvidia DLSS, DLAA, and various graphics resolutions and aspect ratios. Insomniac Games lists 21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratios. Gamers who choose to play Spider-Man Remastered with the PlayStation DualSense controller can take advantage of the adaptive feedback via the triggers. The game supports achievements and cloud saves on Steam and through the Epic Game Launcher.

Spider-Man Remastered is out on August 12 for PC. The game can then be purchased via Steam and the Epic Game Store. Spider-Man: Miles Morales will follow later this year, although it is not yet known when exactly. The games will be ported by the Dutch company Nixxes.
