Chinese smartphone brand Honor has announced its Honor 70 Lite phone. The phone will cost 199 pounds in the United Kingdom, which works out to around 230 euros. Whether and when the phone will be released in the Benelux is unknown.

The Honor 70 Lite has Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G soc, the cheapest soc with 5G modem from the American processor designer. The Chinese smartphone brand, which has been out of the hands of Huawei for a few years but is owned by a consortium led by the Shenzhen government, adds 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The battery has a capacity of 5000mAh and can be charged with 22W. The primary camera has a 50-megapixel sensor, assisted by a macro camera and depth sensor. On the front is a front camera with a resolution of eight megapixels. The 6.5″ LCD has a resolution of 1600×720 pixels and a screen ratio of 20:9. A fingerprint scanner is located on the side of the phone.

The Honor 70 Lite is out immediately in the UK. Honor has limited budget models on the market in Europe last year. Recently, it has mainly focused on its more expensive Magic models, such as the foldable Magic Vs and the regular Magic 5 Pro.
