Chinese manufacturer Maxsun shows GeForce RTX 4080 and 4070 Ti GPUs with five fans
Chinese graphics card maker Maxsun introduces its GeForce RTX 4080 and 4070 Ti models in the “Mega Gamer GPU” series. The video cards have a total of five fans, three of which are large and two smaller. The GPUs also have a detachable RGB LED strip.
The GeForce RTX 4080 and 4070 Ti MGG OC are the first video cards in Maxsun’s Mega Gamer GPU series, writes tech website Tom’s Hardware. The RTX 40 video cards have three fans on the front, just like many video cards from other Nvidia board partners. At the top, however, are two smaller fans, which according to calculations by Tom’s Hardware seem to have a diameter of about 50mm. The two small fans blow extra air on the heatsink, in the direction of the motherboard.
Furthermore, the MGG series from Maxsun has an RGB LED strip, which is flanked by the two small extra fans. Those LEDs seem to be stuck with magnets and are removable with that, according to a video from the company. The LED strip also has a print with the text ‘Mega Gamer’. The GPUs use a 12Vhpwr connection for power.
The manufacturer also shares few details about the video cards. For example, it is unclear what the clock speeds of the GPUs will be, although given the ‘OC’ suffix in the model names, these will probably be higher than the standard speeds that Nvidia adheres to. Maxsun, which is mainly focused on the Asian market, says it will share more details about the GPUs next week.
