Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC pass is getting Yoshi Island track and Birdo this spring
Nintendo is adding a new Yoshi Island track to the paid Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass. The company is also introducing Birdo as a playable character. The additions are part of Wave 4 of the Booster Course Pass, due out this spring.
Nintendo confirms during his Direct presentation that Birdo will be added to the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass DLC. It’s the first time Nintendo has added a new playable character as part of that DLC pass. Birdo was previously playable in Mario Kart Double Dash for the GameCube and subsequent Mario Kart games. However, the character was missing from Mario Kart 8.
Like previous batches, with Wave 4 of the Booster Course Pass, the game will once again have eight new tracks, divided into two different cups. The first of these is Yoshi Circuit, it appears in a new trailer. This is a completely new circuit. It is unknown what the other seven circuits will be. In previous waves, in addition to new circuits, circuits from older games were often added to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. In previous generations, the game received, for example, Coconut Mall, Mushroom Gorge and Waluigi Pinball.
