Nintendo announces eShop exclusive Kirby’s Dream Buffet for the Switch

Nintendo announces a new Kirby game for the Switch. The Kirby game is due out this summer. The game starring the pink Nintendo character will be published exclusively through Nintendo’s eShop.

Kirby’s Dream Buffet will be out sometime this summer. In the game, you can complete a parkour with obstacles together with up to four friends. A lot of cake has to be eaten along the way. Whoever manages to eat the most sweets gets bigger and bigger and can therefore roll faster over the track.

The gameplay, with its obstacle course and multiplayer elements, is somewhat similar to Fall Guys, which recently appeared for the Nintendo Switch. Kirby’s Dream Buffet can be played with up to three others. In a trailer, Nintendo shows the first gameplay of the game.

An exact release date has not yet been announced. Nintendo does announce that no physical release is planned for the game. Kirby’s Dream Buffet will soon be available only through Nintendo eShop.

Earlier this year, a Kirby game was released for the Nintendo Switch: Kirby and the Forgotten World. This game was more in line with previous games and is a single player adventure where the player goes through a storyline with Kirby.
