Ubisoft has announced The Crew Motorfest, the third title in the game series. This game is set on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. Motorfest, unlike The Crew 2, seems to focus only on cars and doesn’t seem to be getting planes, boats, or motorcycles.

The Crew Motorfest is made by Ubisoft Ivory Tower and, like previous titles, is an open-world racing game. The game gets ‘hundreds of vehicles’, although Ubisoft only shows cars for now. It therefore seems that the game will not get any other types of vehicles, as was the case in The Crew 2.

In Motorfest, players can drive on asphalt roads, but also off-road racing, for example on a volcano, in forests or on the beach. The multiplayer part gets a big role in the game again and players can race, do ‘themed events and other challenges’. The Hawaiian capital of Honolulu also comes into play.

The game will be released later this year for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series consoles and Xbox One, Windows and Amazon Luna. On Wednesday, February 1, Ubisoft will start an Insiders Program, which will allow certain players to try out Motorfest. For the time being this program is only available for the PC; later, console gamers should get early access as well.
