EA delays Star Wars Jedi: Survivor by six weeks

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will no longer release on March 17, but on April 28. The developer says the game is almost ready, but the extra time is needed to improve the quality. Jedi: Survivor is the sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order.

Respawn says now working on the final part of the game’s development, which is fixing bugs to make the game smoother, more stable and better to play. To ensure that the game meets Respawns quality requirements, the developer says it needs six extra weeks. That’s why the game will now be released worldwide on April 28. In early December, EA gave another release date of March 17.

The developer has been working on the game for three years, which is a sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order, which was released in 2019. The new game will again star Cal Kestis and, according to EA, it will have more extensive combat, bigger destinations to explore, and better ways to move around those destinations. For example, in an earlier trailer, Respawn showed how Kestis could ride animals. In addition, Kestis seems to get a blaster, he has extra Force powers and he can do more with his lightsabers.
