EvLeaks shows ASUS ROG Phone 6 with large external fan
Smartphone leaker EvLeaks has put the supposedly official renders of the ASUS ROG Phone 6 online. A relatively large external accessory can also be seen, containing a fan, RGB lighting and shoulder buttons. The phone was supposed to appear on July 5.
The latest Android device in the Republic of Gamer series from ASUS will receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 soc and a 6.8″ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 165Hz. The device will also be equipped with up to 18GB of Lpddr5 memory , a 5850mAh battery and 65W fast charging.
The specifications were released earlier this week via the TENAA inspection body. Evan Blass now has the presumably official renders published on 91mobiles. The AeroActive Cooler 6 accessory can be seen next to the device. It contains a fan that should keep the phone cool during heavy use. L and R buttons are also visible, which can be used as shoulder buttons during gaming.
According to EvLeaks, ASUS will release the ROG Phone 6 on July 5. It is not yet known what the device and the accessory will cost. The ROG Phone 5s came out at the end of last year for 999 euros, together with a 1299 euro Pro variant.
