Focus Entertainment releases A Plague Tale: Requiem on October 18. The game from Asobo Studio is the successor to A Plague Tale: Innocence from 2019. The game is made by the French studio that also has Microsoft Flight Simulator to its name.

The story of A Plague Tale: Requiem builds on the first part. The game takes place in France during the Spanish Inquisition and revolves around sister and brother Amicia and Hugo, who must flee and save their loved ones.

The publisher and developer show a new extended gameplay trailer of over 12 minutes. In it, the main characters can be seen in a quarry, where they have to stay out of the hands of soldiers who try to catch them.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC. There will also be a cloud version for the Nintendo Switch. The game will also be available immediately through Xbox Game Pass subscriptions for PC and consoles upon release on October 18. The PC version of the game will get ray tracing and Nvidia DLSS options.

The PC version will be released via Steam for 50 euros. The console versions have a suggested retail price of 60 euros. One also appears Collector’s Edition with a figurine of Amicia and Hugo and various other physical items. That version costs 190 euros.
