Download Firmware Asus RT-AC68U 3.0.0.4.376.1665

Asus has released new firmware for the RT-AC68U. This dual-band router can provide clients with network access both wired and wireless. There are also two USB ports, one of which is USB 3.0, so that a printer or external storage can be shared over the network. The new firmware has version number 3.0.0.4.376.1665 and the download is just under 28MB in size. The release notes mention the following changes and improvements:

Network map new features :

• System status can now show CPU and RAM usage.
• Client status can show wireless clients signal strength.
• Client icon is changeable.
• Client name is changeable and parental control, QoS, manually assigned IP, static route, port forwarding client list can also refer to this name.

Security related :

• Upgrade OpenSSL library from 1.0.0d to 1.0.0m

bug fix:

• Fixed IPv6 and some VDSL modem compatibility issues.
• Fixed 3G/4G dongle compatibility issues for some Huawei dongles.
• Fixed secondary wan setting issues in dual wan fail over mode.
• Fixed traffic monitor display issues.
• Daylight saving time can be manually adjusted.
