Sci-fi cat game Stray releases July 19 for PlayStation consoles and PC
Publisher Annapurna Interactive will release Stray on July 19. The sci-fi cat game is coming to the PlayStation 4 and 5 and appears on Steam. The PC version costs 27 euros and on the PlayStation consoles the game is included in the Plus Extra and Plus Premium subscriptions.
Stray has now been in the works for seven years, say the makers on the PlayStation Blog. The title originally started as ‘HK Project’ and was announced in 2020 as the game Stray. The game comes from the small independent developer BlueTwelve Studio.
The game takes place in a fallen city populated with humanoid robots and other futuristic creatures. The abandoned city is inspired by Kowloon Walled City. That was a very densely populated area in Hong Kong.
The game is on Steam for a suggested retail price of 27 euros. It is not yet known what the PlayStation versions will cost. Sony has announced that the game will be included in the list of games available to Plus Extra and Plus Premium subscribers.
