Firefox users are having problems connecting to Microsoft services
Firefox users report problems using various Microsoft services, including Azure and webmail. They will see a message that a secure connection cannot be established due to an invalid OCSP certificate.
On the Visual Studio Team Services status page writes Microsoft that it is aware of the issues. A cause has not yet been identified; the company says the issues may be related to “a certificate related to OCSP.” This is a protocol with which the validity of digital certificates can be checked. Firefox uses this, but Chrome, for example, does not. Microsoft therefore recommends temporarily using a different browser.
A tweeter leave know that he has found an expired OCSP certificate, which may be the cause of the problems. Several Microsoft services are unavailable to Firefox users, including Azure, Outlook and the web version of Skype. Affected users may experience temporary ocsp stapling Switch off, so that the services can be used again. It is currently unknown when Microsoft will come up with a solution.
