YouTube is testing the queue feature in its Android and iOS apps. The feature is currently only available to YouTube Premium subscribers. In the future, they will be able to adjust the order of videos in a queue.

YouTube Premium users can try the feature by opening the YouTube app on Android or iOS and then going to the app’s settings menu. The test for the Queue function can be activated via the submenu ‘Try’. Users can then add a video to a queue by pressing the menu button associated with each video. The menu this calls up gives the option to add the video to a queue.

Once the queue has been created, it will be displayed at the bottom of the app. YouTube Premium users seem to be given the option to change the order of videos in the queue. The queue also includes shuffle and repeat modes. From screenshots that 9to5Google sharesit turns out that the test will expire on January 28, 2023.

It’s not clear when Google will roll out the feature to all YouTube users using the Android or iOS app.
