Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be released in May 2023
Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. have announced the release date of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The game will be released on May 26, 2023 for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Kevin Conroy, who died in November, will play his role as Batman for the last time.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was initially supposed to be released in 2022, but was pushed back to 2023. The final release date was announced during The Game Awards. The game takes place in the universe of the Batman: Arkham franchise, which also largely comes from developer Rocksteady.
The upcoming Suicide Squad game was already announced in 2020. It is a third-person shooter in an open world that can be played with up to four players. The game can also be played solo. The trailer features characters such as Batman, Harley Quinn and King Shark.
For more than 30 years, Kevin Conroy, who died at the age of 66, voiced Bruce Wayne and his alter ego in various Batman titles, including Batman: The Animated Series and the Batman: Arkham games. The trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League therefore closes with the words ‘Thanks, Kevin’.
