Motorola will release 5G smartphone at the end of July for 349 euros
Motorola has introduced the Moto G 5G Plus phone with 5G. The only other phone of the brand with 5G in the Benelux so far is the Motorola Edge. The phone will receive a Snapdragon 765-soc and a suggested retail price of 349 euros.
The phone has a 6.7″ LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate of 15.6×6.7cm with an area of 105 square centimeters. The screen has a 21:9 ratio and a resolution of 2520×1080 pixels. The screen has two holes. in the upper left corner for the front cameras.The phone measures 16.8×7.4cm and is 9.6mm thick with a weight of 207g.The device has a plastic housing.
The smartphone has a fingerprint scanner in the power button on the side. A double tap on the scanner will bring up a menu of shortcuts. This can be apps, but also functions in apps such as opening Google Maps and immediately starting navigation to a favorite place.
The device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765-soc with integrated 5g modem. The memory has a capacity of 4GB; the storage is 64GB. There is also a variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The primary camera sensor has a size of 30 square millimeters and a resolution of 48 megapixels. In addition, there is an 8-megapixel camera with ultra-wide angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro camera and a depth sensor. On the front is a 16-megapixel wide-angle camera and an ultra-wide-angle camera. The front cameras also have night mode.
The Moto G 5G Plus has a 5000mAh battery, which can be charged with 20W with the supplied charger. The smartphone will come with Android 10 and will in any case get an upgrade to Android 11. Lenovo does not promise upgrades after 11, but does not rule them out either. The phone will appear at the end of July for 349 euros. The version with 6GB/128GB will cost 399 euros.
