Download Dameware NT Utilities 7.4.0.0

Dameware Development has released version 7.4.0.0 of Dameware NT Utilities. The programs are intended for remote management and administration of Windows workstations, servers and domains. The NT Utilities include an extensive Active Directory Object Browser and the programs Mini Remote Control and exporter. The software can be fully tested for 30 days before purchase. The main changes in version 7 are support for ipv6 and nat traversal, there are separate 32 and 64 bit downloads of the Mini Remote Control and the program can be started from an external source, for example a USB stick. In version 7.4.0.0 only adjustments to the Mini Remote Control module have been made.

Mini Remote Control:

• Minor Protocol Revision. Current v7.x users will not be forced to update the DMRC Client Agent Service on the remote machine, provided they are already running version 7.0 or above. A red warning dialog will be displayed instead. However, we recommend you update the Client Agent on the remote machine as soon as possible. Otherwise, some features may not work properly. Version 6.x Clients will require a forced upgrade.
• Added new “RDP Session” switching functionality on Send menu, which now allows Administrators to shadow any RDP/TS session on the given server.
• Added new error messages when wrong binary for encryption is found (both FIPS and non-FIPS mode).
• “Connect via Invitation” grayed out on XP. Fixed.
• Permission dialog may not be displayed, and session automatically disconnected. Fixed.
• Reconnect list may not populate correctly. Fixed.
