Olympus has released new firmware for its E-PL2 digital cameras that can be equipped with lenses with a Micro Four Thirds mount. These cameras feature a 4/3″ Hi-Speed ​​Live MOS image sensor with 12.3 megapixels and also include the TruePic V engine. The version number is fixed at 1.1 and the corresponding list of changes is as follows:

Version 1.1:

• Changed default setting of Image Stabilizer (IS) to “On” when converter lens scene mode FISHEYE EFFECT, WIDE-ANGLE, and MACRO are selected.
• Caution: The camera’s settings are reset when firmware is updated.
