Download Driver For Intel HD Graphics 15.21.8.2279
Intel recently released new drivers for its HD Graphics, the integrated video card in the i3, i5 and i7 processors. The driver is version number 15.21.8.2279 and downloads are available for Windows Vista and 7, in both 32bit and 64bit versions. The changelog does not show any new features, but a large number of problems have been fixed.
Issues Resolved
- With Intel Wirelss Display, remote flashing artifacts with sample DirextX* 10 application
- Windows STOP Error 0x7E when connecting an HDMI display.
- Cannot play HDCP video content when using DP to HDMI dongle.
- Incorrect Japanese translations in the Intel Graphic and Media Control Panel user interface.
- The “Scale Full Image” setting is not maintained when using hotkey (eg to switch display configurations.
- Takes about 20 seconds to enter Monitor / TV Settings page when connected to an HDMI display.
- With external digital display connected, in Extended Desktop mode, and Windows set to “do nothing” when lid is closed, some display corruption appears on the upper area of the Primary Display for a few seconds after opening the laptop’s lid.
- Video playback screen flickers at 16 Bit color depth.
- Windows STOP Error 0xD4 when uninstalling the Intel graphics driver while a DVD player application is still running.
- Windows desktop flashes when opening some pictures in 16 bit color depth.
- Splash screen appear on some desktop background while set at maximum display resolution and 16 bit color depth.
- Cannot switch scaling to full screen by pressing Ctrl+Alt+F11 key in Intel Dual Display Clone mode.
- Display persistence lost after hot undocking/docking with DVI display connected.
- Incorrect Optimal Resolution Notification message displays incorrect optimal resolution in Intel Dual Display Clone mode.
- Exit Extended Desktop mode then hot unplug a VGA monitor and plug in an HDMI display, the HDMI display is black.
- Cannot keep resolution’s or color depth’s previous setting.
- Quantization issue
- Using display profiles, secondary display’s position left of primary display is not restored.
- In Intel Dual Display Clone mode, resolution/color depth change is not kept after power management event.
- After selecting Extende Desktop mode, using hotkey to change display configuration, and undocking, the built-in display’s resolution is not maintained.
- Can’t switch scaling to “Full screen” by pressing Ctrl+Alt+F11 in clone mode.
- Display cannot switch back to single display after exiting Extended Desktop mode using hotkeys then closing and opening the notebook’s lid.
- Using two DVI displays, optimal resolution balloon notification incorrectly appears.
- Blu-ray playback shows video corruption after changing the display mode.
- Computer may freeze during Blu-ray playback when hot unplugging/plugging HDMI display or changing the display mode.
