Intel recently released new drivers for its HD Graphics, the integrated video card in the i3, i5 and i7 processors. The driver is version number 15.21.8.2279 and downloads are available for Windows Vista and 7, in both 32bit and 64bit versions. The changelog does not show any new features, but a large number of problems have been fixed.

Issues Resolved

• With Intel Wirelss Display, remote flashing artifacts with sample DirextX* 10 application
• Windows STOP Error 0x7E when connecting an HDMI display.
• Cannot play HDCP video content when using DP to HDMI dongle.
• Incorrect Japanese translations in the Intel Graphic and Media Control Panel user interface.
• The “Scale Full Image” setting is not maintained when using hotkey (eg to switch display configurations.
• Takes about 20 seconds to enter Monitor / TV Settings page when connected to an HDMI display.
