Download Emsisoft Anti-Malware 6.5.0.11

Emsisoft has released version 6.5 of Anti-Malware. The name of this program does not quite cover it, because the program not only offers protection against malware; it is also a full-fledged antivirus product. That also explains the heavy download of 120MB. New in version 6.5 is the integration in Outlook, which means that infections can be dealt with even faster. Furthermore, it should be more resistant to malware that tries to disable Emsisoft’s program and the program also starts up faster. The complete release notes for version 6.5 can be found below.

Email scanner in Outlook:
Emsisoft Anti-Malware will now scan all incoming and outgoing emails directly in Outlook. Outlook versions 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2010 are supported x64.

Full integration of the Emsisoft Anti-Malware Network:
Emsisoft’s own cloud database now contains information about millions of programs and thus supports the behavior monitoring of Emsisoft Anti-Malware. In practice, this means that virtually no false alarms are given by behavioral monitoring. The cloud database can also be consulted via IsThisFileSafe.com.

Improved self-protection:
Modern malware is getting smarter by the day. It often prevents detection by disabling installed security software. Emsisoft Anti-Malware now protects you even better against manipulation of your security software.

Automatic game mode:
When a game is played in fullscreen mode, Emsisoft Anti-Malware will automatically switch to game mode. During the game mode, no popup of Emsisoft Anti-Malware appears and you can hunt for the high score undisturbed.

Start faster:
Emsisoft Anti-Malware takes the throttle even further and now starts faster.

Optimized command line scanner:
The commandline scanner is a nice tool for administrators and can now also be used to update the entire program.
