Download Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware 1.61.0.1300 Beta

Malwarebytes has released a new beta release of Anti-Malware with version number 1.61. The program is aimed at fighting spy, ad and malware, especially the removal of malicious software that pretends to be a bona fide antivirus or antispyware solution, but in reality has less good intentions. In addition to the free version, there is a paid variant that offers additional functionality, including real-time protection. In version 1.61, among other things, the quick scan under 64-bit operating systems has become much faster. Furthermore, the chameleon technique has been improved and some issues have been fixed.

Improvements:

• Up to 25% faster Quick scans for 64-bit operating systems.
• Chameleon usability enhancements.
• Enhanced reliability of program updates with additional security checks.
• Password command line enhancements (paid version only).

Issue Fixed:

• Scheduled scan logs now include accurate protection status.
• Context menu ‘Scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware’ now displays in selected language.
