Download Firmware Leica X1 2.0

Leica has for his X1 digital compact cameras released new firmware with 2.0 as version number. These cameras have an aps-c-cmos image sensor on board with 12.9 megapixels and the lens has a fixed focus distance of 36mm. The announcement of this release looks like this:

With this firmware version, a number of camera functions have been added (see below), and the performance of the camera has been enhanced in several areas:

• improved image quality
• improved AF response, especially in low-light conditions and in the case of low contrast subjects
• improved MF setting accuracy due to monitor image now always based on wide open aperture
• shorter time lag between exposures
