Piriform has released version 1.40.5259 of Recuva. The name of the program is an alternative spelling for the English word ‘recover’ and that is exactly what the program does; it tries to recover deleted files on, for example, the hard drive or memory card of a digital camera or MP3 player. Recuva is free for both private and commercial use and is suitable for Windows 2000 and above. This release includes support for Windows 7 SP1 and the BartPE Recovery CD.
