SurfRight has released an update for version 3.6 of HitmanPro. HitmanPro can remove viruses, spyware, Trojan horses, rootkits and other forms of malware. By smart scanning and using cloud computing, the software performs a complete scan in often no more than a few minutes. To remove infections, the program must be activated. A free key can be requested the first time, but a new key must be purchased after 30 days. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

• Windows 8 Release Preview support.
• Detection and removal of XULRunner redirect scripts.
• /fb command line switch to perform Force Breach.
• HitmanPro switches the desktop to ensure visibility. Some Ransomware use a dedicated desktop to prevent applications from popping up.

• Force Breach to kill more processes.
• Force Breach now works under SYSTEM or SERVICE account.
• Detection and removal of ZeroAccess/Sirefef CLSID variant.
• Improved removal of MaxSS boot kit.
• Improved Volume Boot Record (VBR) handling.

Fixed:

• A problem where Default scheduled scan would not scan for cookies.
• SafeBoot Minimal was not working.
• Behavioral scoring on WOW64 uninstall keys.
• Compatibility issue with Dataplex caching software from NVELO.

• Portuguese language.
• Internal white list.
