Download FastPictureViewer 1.8 build 255

Version 1.8 build 255 of FastPictureViewer has been released. This program is aimed at the digital photographer and can be used to quickly and easily view and rate large amounts of images. There are no options to edit images, but the program does offer support for the raw format of some 400 different digital cameras. Separate downloads are available for 32bit– and 64bitenvironments, and the program is free for non-commercial use. Since the previous entry in the Meuktracker, the following changes and improvements have been made:

• This build fixes a couple of issues including a quite rare hang related to the external program launcher.

• Added a new command-line option, -LOCK, to lock-down the user interface, useful for kiosks or read-only viewing stations. Fixed minor bugs.

• On-screen rotation: Ins key = counter-clockwise on-screen rotation, Shift+Ins = clockwise on-screen rotation.

• This release fixes an auto-rotation issue occurring with some JPEG files (eg from Sony NEX-7). Fixed small glitches in the new GeoClustering plugin.
