UVK stands for Ultra Virus Killer, but that doesn’t quite cover it, because this program can do much more than just remove viruses and malware. UVK can also solve various Windows problems, for example with processes, drivers or programs that start with Windows. Scanning computers uses external programs such as Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware, SuperAntiSpyware and HitmanPro, which explains the download of only 5MB. However, the program is not recommended for the novice user and is similar to D7 in that sense. In version 4.2.0.0 the following changes have been made:

• Added 9 different color skins. Can be set up in the UVK options section.
• Improved the script parsing feature.
• Improved the section switching and window resizing functions.
• Message boxes, progress and other dialogs are now titleless and semi-transparent.
• The current background colors are also used in the html reports.
• Other graphical improvements.
