TP-Link has released new firmware for the TL-WR1043ND. This router offers WiFi in the flavors b, g and n, has four gigabit network ports and also has a USB port with which a hard drive or USB stick can be shared over the network. This version does not yet contain support for IPv6, but TP-Link has promised in an email correspondence that it is the intention to make this router IPv6 suitable. New in this release is that a printer can now be connected to the USB port and support for Apple’s bonjour protocol and the backup function have been improved.
