Download Macrium Reflect 6.1.879

Paramount Software has released an update to Macrium Reflect for the third time in a short time. This program can create a disk image of a partition or hard disk. Macrium Reflect is free for private use, but there are also paid performances. They offer different extras, such as being able to do a file backup or an incremental backup, encryption, and restoring a backup to different hardware than it was created on. The standard version costs 45 euros, the pro version 60 euros and the server edition goes home for 193 euros. Version 6.1.879 fixes the following two issues:

• Program error on final page of the Restore wizard
  A rare program crash could occur on the final page of the restore wizard in Windows PE. This has been resolved. If this issue affects you then please create fresh Windows PE rescue media after updating.
• Windows PE network logon
  Error messages for a failed logon attempts were truncated in the logon dialog. This has been resolved. Please note that when using Windows PE 10 it may be necessary to prepend the network user name with ‘.\’ to successfully authenticate. ie ‘.\username’.
