Download Winamp iPod Plugin 1.32

The development team led by Will Fisher has just released version 1.32 of the iPod plugin for Winamp. This piece of software allows the iPod to be managed from Winamp’s media library, making iTunes fairly redundant. The plugin only works with version 2.9, or version 5 or higher, but not with the Lite version. More information about this plugin can be found on this page to be found. This version adds support for audiobooks and podcasts, among other things, and has various bug fixes on board. The full changelog of this release looks like this:

What’s New:

• Added support for audiobooks and (rudimentary) podcasts, new options page “Speech” to configure it. Audiobooks are recognized by genre.
• Fixed: Bookmark position of audiobooks is not zero’ed now
• New options for autofill (on “Sync settings” page):
• use autofill query independently of sync query
• do not delete any files during autofill, only fill the empty space
• Fixed crash when deleting song from playlist (broken since 1.31)
• Fixed crash when opening smart playlist query editor (broken since 1.31)
• Fixed unwanted confirmation box on first transfer
• Fixed “Check Songs on iPod” (needed several runs if some files were missing on iPod)
