Lenovo to release horizontal Legion gaming smartphone next month
Lenovo will release a smartphone aimed at gamers next month. The Lenovo Legion is intended to be used horizontally, and has the cameras in the middle of the back of the device. Not much is known about specifications yet.
There have been rumors for some time that Lenovo would come with its own gaming phone, but the company now confirms on Weibo that it will release the Legion next month. The company does not provide details.
The phone is intended to be used horizontally, according to teasers that the company released earlier. For example, the logo is reversed, and the two camera lenses are in the middle of the phone. The device also has a pop-up camera on the side, and two USB-C connections, one of which is on the side.
It was previously known that the phone will receive a Snapdragon 865-soc that supports 5G. The device has a 5000mAh battery and can charge quickly with 90W.
Lenovo will announce the phone in a month’s time, but it is not yet known whether it will also be available outside of China. Nothing is known about the price yet.
