Square Enix Shows Project Athia Teaser For PlayStation 5 And PC

Luminous Productions, a new studio from Square Enix, is showing a teaser trailer for its game, tentatively known as Project Athia. The game is being developed for the PlayStation 5 and PC. It seems to be an action game in fantasy setting.

The short teaser trailer features a female protagonist who takes on monsters, including a large wolf. Short fragments of expansive landscapes can also be seen. The game is being made by Luminous Productions, a new studio set up by Square Enix and made up of developers who worked on Final Fantasy XV.

On Twitter writes screenwriter Gary Whitta that he leads a team of highly regarded writers from the film, TV and game industries. Fantasy book writers are also on the team working on the game. Whitta also co-wrote Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Project Athia is not the final name of the game, the PlayStation Blog states. When the game will get an official name and release has not yet been announced. On Twitter reports the publisher There will also be a PC version.
