Sony makes 3D platformer with Sackboy from LittleBigPlanet

Sony has announced a spin-off of its LittleBigPlanet franchise. Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a 3D platform game that comes out for the PlayStation 5 and can be played in either a solo or multiplayer mode.

The trailer for Sackboy: A Big Adventure shows the main character moving through a colorful world full of dangers from plush and cardboard opponents. Among other things, Sackboy can use a kind of lasso to clear obstacles. He can also knock opponents off and shoot them.

Halfway through the video he gets help from a friend and at the end you can see how a total of four players can go through the levels and work together. The game is made by Sumo Digital, which was also responsible for LittleBigPlanet 3 for the PlayStation 4. LittleBigPlanet has had more spin-offs, such as Run Sackboy Run for smartphones. Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a game released exclusively for the PlayStation.
