EK is going to make air coolers
Slovenian manufacturer EK, known for its water cooling hardware, will also make air coolers and will show a prototype. The new EK-AIR series will include various coolers, with single and double cooling towers and addressable RGB LEDs.
For now, EK has shown one image with a prototype of an air cooler for processors. It shows a conventional design with four heat pipes and a single cooling tower and one fan. To Overclock3D, the company says that the design of the prototype shown is not yet final.
According to TechPowerUP, EK has confirmed that multiple variants of the air cooler are coming out, both with single and double cooling towers. The coolers must have a high-quality build, combined with a ‘modern appearance’ and good cooling performance.
EK creates the EK-AIR series for air coolers. The water blocks that the company makes are known as EKWB, or EK Water Blocks. It is not yet known when the EK air coolers will be released on the market.
