The US prices of the upcoming Intel Arc Alchemist series graphics cards may have surfaced online. The entry-level model should be sold for roughly $100, while the top model would cost a maximum of $400.

Tech medium Wccftech is said to have obtained the reveal slide from Intel partners in Taiwan and while the content could still change, it gives a first indication of prices for the upcoming Alchemist series of GPUs. The stated prices are presumably exclusive of tax.

With the flagship of the Performance + category, the Arc A770, Intel wants to compete with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3060 Ti with a TDP of 200W and 8GB of memory, according to the slides. Intel also mentions the AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT with a tdp of 180W and 8GB of memory as a direct competitor. In both cases, Intel prefers a higher TDP than the competition.

That difference is even greater in the Performance category, where the Arc A580 with a TDP of 175W should be able to compete with the RTX 3050 with a TDP of 130W. The video card has to leave the Radeon RX 6500 XT behind, a gpu with a TDP of only 107 watts. In both segments described by Intel, the company therefore focuses on higher power consumption than the competition.

For now, Intel has not yet painted a complete picture of Alchemist; this week official benchmarks of the Arc A750 were published. Of all models, only the Arc A380 is currently available and for now only in China, where the card costs 146 euros. Not all information is available yet about the Arc M-series mobile video cards.
