Samsung seems to be coming up with a new version of its Galaxy Watch watch soon. New versions of the smart watch appeared at the US FCC. It is striking, among other things, that Samsung provides the smartwatch with MIL-STD01-8190G certification.

Features and images of the new Galaxy Watch appeared with the FCC and were noticed by the Android Police website, among others. Four different types have been distinguished, the differences being in the dimensions of the watch case and LTE support. Users can choose between a 41mm or a 45mm variant. The predecessor, the Galaxy Watch, also came in two different sizes.

Pictures of the new smartwatch are not yet available; at the FCC only a drawing of the back appeared. It shows, among other things, that the smart watch receives MIL-STD01-8190G certification. That means that the hardware must be able to take a beating. The watch case is also waterproof to a depth of 50 meters. There is also support for WiFi and Bluetooth. According to rumors, Samsung is sticking to control via a rotating bezel, which can also be found on the Galaxy Watch.

Samsung released the first Galaxy Watch almost two years ago. Since then, the manufacturer has released the Galaxy Active and Galaxy Active 2, but they are mainly aimed at measuring sports performance.
