Ubisoft Announces Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Details To Follow September 10
Ubisoft has announced Assassin’s Creed Mirage as the next game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. The French publisher will reveal more details during the Ubisoft Forward event on September 10. The announcement comes after the game’s artwork was released online.
Ubisoft shares the same artwork previously featured on The Codex Network on Twitter had been leaked. It shows a jumping Assassin’s Creed character with a hidden knife at the ready. That is according to Eurogamer the character Basim. According to previous rumors Assassin’s Creed Mirage would take place in the city of Baghdad between the year 860 and 870.
YouTuber j0nathan claims that the game will be released in the spring of 2023. According to the man, Ubisoft also wants to go back to ‘the basics’ of the franchise with the game. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is said to feature new animations that j0nathan says are less gory compared to the ones in Valhalla. According to the man, there would also be fewer or even no dialogue options and no level system is used in the game anymore. It would also be possible to use Eagle Vision again. Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier stilt that some, but by no means all, of the YouTuber’s claims about the game are correct. For example, it would not be possible to travel to different cities.
Ubisoft has not yet shared any substantive details about the game. The publisher refers to the Ubisoft Forward event that will take place on September 10.
