Game Science Studio Shares New Gameplay Trailer Black Myth: Wukong

Chinese developer Game Science Studio released a new trailer for its action-RPG Black Myth: Wukong on Friday. The trailer lasts eight minutes and shows combat, game mechanics and the in-game menu, among other things.

The trailer shows more of the battles in the game, among other things. For example, the player fights against giant and a dragon. It also showcases other gameplay elements, such as finding hidden collectibles and activating checkpoints. Furthermore, the trailer shows the in-game menu, where various items are visible. It also seems that the player can view a bestiary, which contains information about the monsters and artwork.

Black Myth: Wukong was already announced in August 2020, but has no release date yet. Last year in August a trailer was released showing an ‘Unreal Engine 5 gameplay test’.

The action RPG is based on the sixteenth century book The Journey to the West. The game follows the mythical figure Sun Wukong, a monkey with supernatural powers. It is not yet clear to what extent the game will follow the story of The Journey to the West.
