Download Driver For nVidia ForceWare 101.70 beta

The gurus of Guru3D have got their hands on new ForceWares. This time it concerns version 101.70 which is still in beta stage and can be downloaded for Windows Vista 32 bit (43MB) and Windows Vista x64 (54MB). These drivers are actually intended for the upcoming GeForce 8600, but have been modified so that they can be used on virtually any GeForce video card. The site has the following to say about ForceWare 101.70 beta:

Today we can bring you new Vista drivers for NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards. The drivers in it’s original form are intended for the upcoming new GeForce 8600 graphics cards.

We included a modified .inf file which you can try and use as it’ll make most graphics cards compatible.

This is a BETA driver, if you run into a setup error (unlikely) you can always install the old-school way; thus:

> Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Display Adapters > your graphics card > Driver > and hit Update

Then point to to directory where you extracted the files. again ; this seems to be a beta driver treat and respect it as such.[break]
