Mobile mmo space game Eve Echoes coming in August
Eve Echoes, a mobile and tablet-enabled game set in the Eve universe, will be officially released in August. The mobile game was already playable in December last year during an open beta period.
The Chinese company NetEase Games and the Icelandic CCP Games report that Eve Echoes will be released in August for iOS and Android. Interested players can already register for the game, whose makers have released new trailers. The makers have not yet announced an exact date in August.
Eve Echoes aims to bring the scale and complexity of Eve Online gameplay to mobile devices. The mobile game is described as a sandbox MMO in which players can explore a vast universe as pilots with their starships. Players can craft items, earn money, take territories, trade, piracy, run businesses and form coalitions. There would be more than 100 unique ships and more than 8000 star systems in the game.
