Version 3.1.0.147 of the well-known VoIP program for Windows has been released today. Skype allows free conversations with other Skype users, generally with surprisingly good quality. It is also possible, against one small compensation, to ‘call’ landline and mobile phones. In addition to this version for Windows, versions for Linux, Mac OS X and the Pocket PC are also being developed, but these are technically somewhat behind the Windows version. This release fixes four issues, including one known issue from the previous release. This doesn’t help much, because another one has replaced it, leaving the counter at two:
