Martin Kleinman has released a new version of jSunnyreports. This free program written in Java can use the data that solar panel inverters store in log files to website on which consumption and yield are displayed in clear graphs. The program has support for 22 inverters from various manufacturers. This release includes recognition for sunrise and sunset, and so-called rogue pulses.

Upgrade
Users who are using 1.6.0.0 can update using the following steps:

  • Replace jSunnyreports.jar
  • Replace schedule.conf from the zip file to your /conf directory
  • Replace historic.template from the zip file to your /template directory
  • Add the following items to your settings.ini file:
  • cache.retain=32
  • inverter.timeinterval=3
  • javascript.generate.jsondata=0
  • Remark about 5.6 and 7. Check the original settings.ini file in the zip file for more information. Above values ​​are defaults that should work for most people.

    People who are using older version need to do a full upgrade.
