Survival game Grounded will be released on July 28th
Obsidian Entertainment, the studio that is known for The Outer Worlds and has been part of Microsoft since November 2018, will make the survival game Grounded available on July 28 for PC and Xbox One. This is an early version that is not yet completely finished.
Grounded will be available as an Early Access title on Steam on July 28, as well as an Xbox Game Preview and as part of the Xbox Game Pass for console and PC users. Inspired by the movie Honey I Shrunk the Kids, this game from Obsidian Entertainment pits children the size of ants to survive in the backyard. According to Adam Brennecke of Obsidian, it is not a regular backyard in which the necessary mysteries are hidden.
The greatly reduced children have to deal with insects that suddenly look very scary. The newly released trailer, which focuses on the single player story, shows how to build a base and wield weapons to fend off spiders and ants. In addition to the single player, there is a multiplayer for four players. For that, there are characters available for in-game: Max, Willow, Pete and Hoops.
